With the massive amount of people searching for puppies of all breeds and wanting puppies right now PLEASE do your research on your breeder!!! If you take the risk buying from a Backyard Breeder up to you... BUT please check if the parents have at least been tested for JLPP and LEMP (anyone can test their dogs for these!) BOTH the...se diseases are a death penalty for your puppy there is no cure, no treatment nothing can be done to save your puppy!!! Look at the condition the pups are in, look at the condition the mum is in as a first priority!! Then if the seller is willing to let your pup go home with you prior to 8 weeks of age (normal excuse is mums not feeding them anymore) walk away........ hell run away as your pup is missing out on Critical socialisation skills they learn from their litter mates!! By law pups MUST be at a minimum microchipped !! Now we will go to registered breeders.........Time and time again people are recommending breeders as they have a constant supply of puppies, ask yourself WHY do they have puppies available all the time?? Go back to research your breeder and look at how the bitches live..... Do they live in concrete Kennels, then they come into the house have their puppies and are then returned to the Kennels.......... their pups at 4/5 weeks of age are put out in concrete Kennels, no socialisation, no exposure to different experiences, most of the time they don’t even have toys to play with!! Ask yourself if you want a well adjusted puppy or a kennel raised puppy?? Ask your breeder what they do with their adult dogs besides just breed them, ask your breeder do they stand by their puppies that they breed, are they there for you for any advice regarding feeding, training etc. Any ethical breeder has a wait list for their puppies, yes you might have to wait for a pup BUT your pup will be worth the wait
