02.01.2022 Our anonymous three card reading winner has been chosen. The question asked was 'Will I find love again & if so when will it happen?' This is not a question that will yield a good result from the cards, so we have rephrased it to say 'What can I do to prepare to find love again in the future?' Past - King of Pentacles This is the 'Tough old Farmer' card. He is proud and self-reliant, he likes to be in charge. He is a provider, will always do his best for his family, and sti...ck by them. He can have a hard time conveying his emotions to others, which can cause problems in his personal life. In this placement, the Querent (person I am reading for) is the King. She has learned to live alone, to provide for herself and her family. In learning this, she now likes to be in control, and tackles things logically rather than emotionally. Essentially, she is that tough old farmer, too busy working and helping her neighbors to give herself time to enjoy her life. Present - The Empress The 'Mother' card. The Empress is a mother in the best sense, caring for a fragile new life. She has planted a seed and is watching it grow, slowly and carefully. The Queen brings a message, that plants can die just as easily from over-watering as they can from neglect. As the present card in this reading, this signifies a need to balance any new relationship. While it is obviously something the Querent really wants, she needs to be more patient when meeting new people. The first card tells of the control that the Querent now likes to have, but sometimes control is not the best option. All seeds need time to sprout, and she should take more time to just enjoy the moment than to plan the future - in other words, don't rush in. Future - 3 Wands This is the card of 'Waiting for your ships to come in.' You have invested your passion into something (new friends, new relationship). Like a woman who has just learned that she is pregnant after years of trying, she is seeing a glimmer of hope. She knows that there is a long road ahead, learning, growing, adjusting, but the knowledge that her dream can come true is all she needs. As a whole, I would say that the Querent needs to take more time when investing in new relationships, to get to know people better before committing to a relationship with them. Like the pregnant woman, she will likely be very frustrated at times, but needs to allow her baby to grow until it is ready. Love is always there for each of us, it is just a matter of nurturing and caring for the relationship in the right way.
