11.01.2022 Bowen Therapy........ What is it? Bowen Therapy was founded by Tom Bowen in the 80's in Victoria, Australia, so is only a relatively new modality. Understandably, there is a bit of confusion about what Bowen Therapy is and how it works. Let me tell you what Bowen Therapy is NOT. It is NOT massage, physio, acupressure OR energy healing. IT IS a" hands on" physical manipulation , working mainly on the fascia, which is the connective tissue that ...holds everything in place. Bowen Therapy is an effective treatment for a wide range of conditions including colic and feeding difficulties in babies, chronic conditions, sports injuries, back and neck pain, and many internal issues such as stroke, migraines, infertility, digestive problems and more. IT IS the ONLY modality in the world that has an effective treatment for post concussion syndrome, i(ncluding the medical establishment.)
