21.01.2022 Monday motivation: DO WHAT YOU LOVE! I love being outdoors and enjoying the sunshine even though some people think I'm a gym junkie. #Nikentctour was a great way to spend Saturday. A whole day of exercise with other strong women was very empowering and great to see so many different types of people there. Sydney definitely turned it on for the #NikeNTCSydney tour the harbor looked amazing and it was so much fun soaking up the atmosphere with like minded people and great friends. 08.01.2022 School has been crazy and my training has really copped the brunt of my job which sucks. It was so good to get back into the gym this week and really do what I love. This is part of the circuit I completed yesterday. Mobility warm up, wall hand stands and thoracic mobility. Then straight into this ripper of a session. 5 sets 20kg sled pushes, battle rope and push ups paired with broad jumps. Then next circuit was plyometric jumps, hollow body holds, ball slams, log press and ...walking hand stand with feet suspended. Felt so good to get back into it. It's so annoying when the grind of life takes over your passions and overall health and wellbeing. It's been a real wake up call for me that last couple of months and I don't want to be defined by my job! Going to try and post once a day to help me stay accountable. 02.01.2022 Sled drills are good for increasing power and speed. You can do them before your strength/weight session or incorporate it into a circuit. Let me know how you go with it.
