18.01.2022 Well this is a blast from the past. Does anyone remember Queen of the Damned 2002? All of the jewellery Aliya is wearing is from Kashgar :) I still remember the day the designer came in,.He kept asking to see more and more pieces, and some of it was really expensive, so I was getting a little nervous with all of this stuff piled on the counter. He'd look at a piece, push it to the pile on one side, then ask for another. I asked "which piece are you interested in?". His response was "all of it". I still remember most of the pieces. They came from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Some of it was solid gold and silver set with carnelians, lapis lazuli and other stones. Most of it was taken apart and deconstructed into custom pieces for her, but the two necklaces were left pretty much whole.
