21.01.2022 " THE BUNNINGS ONION SAGA " The person who slipped on an onion was me, Trevor, wrongly reported as an "amateur boxer" ( in 60's??), from Gympie. THIS ...IS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED. I walked into the store wearing leather soled boots. The sole of my right boot slipped on an grease infused onion, shot forward causing my right knee (bone on bone) to give way and over l went like a banana onto my back. I had recently had a TOTAL HIP REPLACEMENT. BUNNINGS WERE NOT LIABLE!! However the insurance company, out of good will, "payed out" for the related medical expenses, tests etc in relation to the artificial cobalt chrome hip replacement. (Birmingham) Didn't the Media & Ideological worriers on social media have a field day with that. LoL Amazing mentality. I'm 6ft and 96 kilos " Wrap around " knee supports didn't cut it for my problems. During that next 3 month wait, l developed and made this assistant knee support brace not just for pain relief but to give that knee support and me confidence to get that knee working to strengthen the supporting structures that hold the knee up. Surgeon said "come back when you can't sleep at night " Well I've been sleeping all night without pain for over 2 years now. Guess l won't be seeing him for a while . The braces are $62 each plus express post delivery of $12 for 1or2.
