25.01.2022 Great weekend at Swan River Showjumping Colours has won the 1m class 3 shows in a row, Fatty jumped in her first 1.15m open class and Simon had a go at his first 1.05m class Results were : Simon clear 80cm warm up... 24.01.2022 We had a massive 3 day weekend at WASJA Patrons cup. Oaks Alchemy (Alan) Jumped around some 90cm and 1m classes to go on and place 2nd in the Amateur B at 1.04m Kasia's Simcinnati (Simon) Jumped clear 1.15m speed class ... Clear 1.15m newcomer clear 1.20m jump off Clear in the Amateur 1.15m - 1.20m 1 rail in the Gaenor Mcinnes Memorial 1.20m They are very tired but I'm super proud of both boys Thankyou to everyone who has helped me along the way especially with Simon, he was awesome this weekend

23.01.2022 So the old girl still has it! Colours jumping a speedy clear round at Eventing In The Park although our inner show jumper came out and produced the fastest clear round, turns out it was not as close to optimum time as we hoped. Fatty also convinced she is a show jumper she took a dislike to the water jump and didn't get to complete the course but was not bothered by the atmosphere which is great. Very excited to go show jumping with my 3 mares next year!! ... Thankyou very much to Ben and Christine for helping me on the day and also thanks to my very supportive sponsors and owners. 17.01.2022 A massive weekend at the EWA State Showjumping Championships! And a massive list of people to thank My boys jumped incredible especially yesterday. Kasia's Simcinnati (Simon) jumped 5 clear rounds over the weekend ... And a speedy double clear yesterday to take out the Amateur State Title Oaks Alchemy (Alan) Took home a 6th place in the 90cm on Friday and yesterday pulled it together to also win the State Championships Amateur B I managed to pick up the "best presented" award in ring 1 plaiting efforts paid off! I have lots of thankyous but firstly to Dwight and the EWA team the show ran smoothly and was a great success. Darren and Red the live stream was awesome so thankyou for that! 12.01.2022 Eventing in the Park 2015 - Brookleighs Cascading Colours Les Bunning taught me since I was 9 years old never to touch my horse in a combination, Rory Hovell told me to always ride forward into a treble and its basically fact that if you touch their mouth over a jump they have it down behind. The treble at this event was an oxer, 2 strides to a double of verticals then 4.5 strides to a narrow arched plank on flat cups, naturally I assumed I would wait and fit 5 strides in an...d watched many horses before me struggle to get it done. This photo shows so many things I've learnt in the 8 years I have ridden Colours, she is more than capable to get it done often better than a big horse, she jumped the fastest clear round out of 60 riders and was the smallest to compete at the event. I got the forward distance I wanted into the treble, left her alone and saw the 4 strides to the plank which she happily reached for, trusting her and leaving her mouth she cut the half stride out and jumped through clean! What an amazing pony!

07.01.2022 FOR SALE - Top quality dressage prospect Georgia is a 7yo 16.1hh warmblood mare by Kendalee Riverdisc out of a Barabadeen Fortune mare. This very attractive mare has previously been a successful show jumper but with her expressive paces and her up hill build I feel she would be best suited to a dressage focussed rider and in my experience she enjoys this more. Georgia has been well exposed to competition life and recently completed a number of novice dressage tests all sco...ring above 70%. She is currently training Elementary level at home, she produces a lovely extension in both trot and canter with lateral movements coming naturally to her.
