22.01.2022 For today's update, we would like to say thanks for the great support! 50 free meals of 'nasi lemak' were donated by Julie and Yogi. These meals were distributed to Swinburne and Deakin international students in the suburbs of Hawthorn, Burwood, and East Malvern. Adam Liew from Malaysia generously sent food item products such as Maggie, Milo, and biscuits, as well as 200 reusable masks via DHL, which arrived in our office today.... The masks are very well made, and these items will be distributed to people in need who have registered this weekend. Adam Liew is a Melbourne graduate international student who funded his own studies back in 2010 to 2015. He strongly feels for the lack of income and jobs that international students are currently facing as he is able to relate - trying to support the household back whilst studying. He loves to contribute to the society and community in Melbourne, State of Victoria, no matter how little, in order to be able to help accommodate people in this tough period of time. Have a look at his website! https://ashirtbyadamliew.com/ Once again, thank you for the generous contributions and support for The Kasih Project.
