23.01.2022 . Our Pink dream came true.... @peacelion

23.01.2022 Sleep is sweeter when Bohème is in her little @bubnest .Co sleeping with her, third time round feels safer having this little bed, especially with two older kids wanting to hop into my bed too. It's like a cocoon and I'm right there beside her. Sweet Dreams!

22.01.2022 These heartfelt hands. They hold us. They bring life. They see death. They have written thousands of words. They have traveled around and around the globe. They tell all the tales. They are pioneers and rule breakers and boundary pushers. They love and never hate. They are strong but never mean. They have no fear. Their creativity holds no bounds. They are my lovers hands....

18.01.2022 This day, two weeks ago I was standing on the shore of that in-between worlds. One foot in outer space and one on earth. I had such an urge to be in and near the ocean those last few days. My intuition had wondered wether our baby would be born on the Saturday. Early Sunday morning it all started and before noon I was birthing Bohème. There is a peace that has settled within me now she is here. It is the best feeling ever. . . . #pregnancy #birth #beyond

14.01.2022 It is one year ago since our incredible trip to India! My gorgeous friend @thesilkroad_ reminded me today. Unforgettable memories were had.... Sleeping under the stars in a dirty field in the desert. Traipsing through the Pushkar Camel Fair with our four kids. Searching for tigers in the wildlife sanctuary. Buying sweet roses and marigolds garlands every morning. ... Just before this trip I had been pregnant. But that little babe decided it wasn't the right time. After that we decided to throw caution to the winds and have another adventure in India. Once home after this trip we thought 'Life with two beautiful kids is pretty epic and wonderful, let's not have about another' Well little did we know that Bohème had other plans for us and she wanted to be here no matter what. Our rainbow baby!! How could we ever have know how full to the brim our lives would be a year on. Another divine being gracing us with her presence as well as our dream to move to the hinterland all coming true!! Gratitude to our own perseverance and to great spirit for sweeping the way wide open for things to unfold as they should!! Magic @ India See more

12.01.2022 night blossoms blooming in Oma's garden. They are my icon. The mantra I repeat. Bloom. Open. Flower. The spring scents are heavy in the air. It's a time of MAGIC!

12.01.2022 These books were such a gift during my pregnancy journey. Each one a reminder of the incredible intuition, goddess power of women and the miracle of our bodies to create life and give birth. . Ina May Gaskin is a pioneer of natural birth for women and this book Spiritual Midwifery written in 1975 still resonates with families worldwide. I love the descriptions of psychedelic rushes and telepathy the birthing mumma's, partners and midwives speak of! I can attest to the out of... this world realm one goes to in that birthing phase. . The Yoga of Birth written by my friend and doula @katiemanitsas will guide you through yoga in pregnancy, meditations and chanting, women's intuition and so much more! A must read for pre and postpartum. . Katie's also lent me @motherbees glorious book The First Forty Days. All about allowing yourself nurturing and healing time after the baby arrives. I have heeded many of the gems of advice in this book 3rd time round and it's definitely a different experience. Asking for help. Accepting food, gifts and visits. A new level of community is fostered. . Bountiful Beautiful Blissful by @gurmukh108 is exactly what the title proclaims. I read it every night. Occasionally doing the kundalini exercises. But taking a lot from the empowering words and feeling such connection with all mothers past, present and future daughter on this wild pregnancy, birthing, parenting journey! . I hope some of you find these books and allow them to stand sentinel on your bedside table. Cheering you on and restoring your faith in your body! . #birth #pregnancy #postpartum #inamaygaskin #katiemanitsas #gurmukhkaurkhalsa #thefirstfortydays See more

10.01.2022 Bohème Violet Moon arrived earthside yesterday at 11:49am. I am still re living her birth and marvelling at what a true wonder and miracle it is. So intense. So other worldly. The gate of life opens and here she is! It was incredible to have Paloma and Romeo present to witness their sister coming into their life. Paloma is smitten and we have been staring at her all day laughing and in awe that she has arrived safe and sound. Congratulations to my ...best birth partners @peacelion and @mumchacha and our wonderful midwife allowing me to be who I needed to be at that time. I'm so full of love and gratitude. Now the postpartum journey of watching this wonder become herself begins! See more

04.01.2022 Bohème Violet Moon! One week basking in the bliss of you. Your calm baby radiance. Your sleepy snuggles and searching gaze. Wrapped up in the pure delight of your arrival and the feeling we have known you for eons before. Such out of this world MAGIC. . On this spring equinox I feel the happy bursting of all that September and Spring bring. The scented air. The gardens over abundance of colour and life, signalling our new life with you in it. And all the seasons to come. . Na...vigating this first week postpartum, the elation, the lows, melding a new kind of family of five. We have been blessed with grandparents who looked after Romeo all week so that we could be completely immersed in the magic of Bohème. . Lucky stars and all . Sending love to Ben for being there for every moment. Feeling very full of love right now to all my gorgeous friends who have dropped in for kisses, cuddles, bringing food, sending flowers, who have gifted us needed things! THANKYou. Love love love... .
