13.01.2022 As the September/October Holiday season draws closer, it marks a milestone for us here at Kast - 12 months since our fearless leader Seth Cleaver penned his resignation letter while sitting on an esky, at our campsite on a family holiday. 12 months since stepping out in to the unknown and starting along this journey of beginning a new startup called Kast. Kast’s vision is to become the premier digital platform for churches and charities providing innovative community engagem...ent tools unlike anything else on the market. It will be a long road but we have our first tool launching very soon and we can’t wait to show you! The past 11 months have seen us networking, planning, developing the base digital services required to support such an endeavour, liaising with software developers overseas and organisations closer to home, establishing our foundational team and structure, and often alongside this and not far from hand, coffee.... lots of coffee. Seth has spent many early mornings and late nights planning, and developing, as he builds the foundation of this business he has dreamt about for some 5 years. We have also seen the introduction of our business advisor Andrew, who brings valuable knowledge and years of market experience to the team. As for myself, Sharon, I have been supporting in any way possible; doing a coffee run, making sure the boys are fed during our meetings or searching websites for possible grants and funding (which we need lots of). Here are a few snap shots of what we have been up to from over the past few months.
