12.01.2022 When I was speaking at a charity event recently about my journey through trauma, I explained that for most of my life I lived under a mask, showing the world that everything was perfect in public, but in truth I was falling apart in private. There are so many of us falling apart in private, feeling alone, unseen, unheard. It could be your friend, a colleague, a family member. The power of being seen and heard in all of our mess and imperfection is incredible. You know, feel...ing heard is so much like feeling loved, that most people don’t differentiate between the two. To be heard makes it safe to been seen - to be seen is to show up exactly as who we are, where we are, right now. To bare our soul, tell our truth. Do you need a safe place to be heard? To be seen?
