22.01.2022 Thursday night I had the honour of having Arron Windus navigating for me in my first Shannon’s targa west rally sprint! The standard car did well considering. Thankyou so much Arron for the advise, tips, and encouragement, it helped so much! A massive thankyou also to mum and dad for getting the car down there and everything else that yous do for me! 22.01.2022 So last weekend I finally got to have a drive of a 4WD rally car in the first round of The West Australian Rally Championship held in Bakers Hill, having stole ...the car keys from Kelly we entered our WRX which Kelly drove last year, she would swap seats and navigate for this one, the aim of the game was for me to finish with an undamaged car and not to embarrass my self to much by going slow, we almost achieved this! We had a good run on the eight stages but on the last stage the front of the car dug in mid corner and bent the 6mm sump guard clean in half, it didn't slow us down much but was bone jarring stuff! After the 8 stages we came home in 8th outright and had a couple of 6th top times so was pretty happy with the way it went, Kelly did a top job of calling the notes, she should stick to it I reckon! Big thanks to our service crew, Dale, Georgie, Hutchy and the Rally Action Crew for helping out as well, big thanks to Tolley for the great roads and use of the property, all the officials and organizers, the event ran like clock work, lastly thanks to our sponsors that help get us to all our events including State and Club events, we are very lucky, so a big thank you, Able Finance, Truck Wholesale, HEC Electrical, Killarney Autos, Superior Customs, BMG Autos and Thornlie Towing. 13.01.2022 Finally got to go racing! Last weekend we had the second round of the Rally Action Khanacross series. This event was a dust storm! Literally! But all round a great day! Corey came in at 13th, mum at 12th (only 2 seconds between them) leaving me to take out 1st position to Jarrod by 6 seconds!! A massive thankyou to mum and dad for getting us to the events, all the organisers, officials, and volunteers, it’s hugely appreciated!! Thankyou for the photos! Bring on the next one!!

11.01.2022 Plans for 2020! This year we will be slowing down the pace a little, using 2020 as a ‘development’ year. We will be working on the car(s), driver skills, and plans for 2021. The Gc8 is having some maintenance done, and throughout the year some tweaking to the set up will be looked at. We will still be competing in the Bormsa autocross series, Rally Action Khanacross series, and co-driving in some Rally WA state series.... Our plans for 2021 will be coming out with a bang! A few surprises here and there . So for all those out there who will notice us at not as many events this year, it’s not because we don’t want to! But so we can prepare for 2021!! Bring it on!! 10.01.2022 Last weekend was Round 2 at Bormsa! I got lucky with the rain showers and managed 1st place and a new junior lap record of 1:53:53!! Closely followed was Dale who would of had me if it wasn’t for a rain shower on his last run! And closely behind him was my race neighbour Jarrod who put up a hard battle! And dad came away with a 5th place! A huge thankyou to all event organisers and officials and everyone for the great day! Bring on the next one!
