25.01.2022 ** UPDATE - Great news! From midnight tonight (Sunday) border residents in the listed shires (includes Moira Shire) will be able to cross back into Victoria from NSW by showing their driver’s licence for identification. Although if you have travelled to the NSW red or orange zones, more restrictions may apply. The link to the Premier’s statement is on the Katamatite Post Office page. ** Here we go again - Permits are back! Although this time it is the other way. If you travel into NSW, you need a permit to return to Victoria. So once more we are happy to print your permits at the post office. We can also help with the application process if required. 24.01.2022 The post office shop will be re-opening on Monday 30th November with a huge SALE - just in time for Christmas! One customer inside at a time please, sanitize on entry and masks must be worn (unless exempt). We will continue to have our window service available as well.

06.01.2022 Tomorrow (Tuesday) the post office is being upgraded to NBN. The power will be off between 8 am and 12 noon. This means no banking, bill payments or parcel assessments until after lunch. Parcel collection will still be possible. Thank you for your patience.

01.01.2022 Due to the current travel restrictions and businesses being closed, on-line shopping has exploded! This is keeping us busy in our little post office, and has ensured we stay open and viable. A huge thank you to everyone for your prompt collection of parcels - our llama storage space is limited.
