Be on the lookout for a small red 4wd driven by a man in his mid thirties, wearing a black singlet and shorts. He has black hair and a tattoo on his left arm. Whilst the v...ast majority of people do the right thing, it’s important to remind the public that collection of firewood from reserves is prohibited, patrols are being done in the area and those found taking firewood could receive a heavy penalty. Additionally, the illegal collection of firewood from our reserves impacts on native wildlife and birds as it destroys natural habitat. Anyone requiring further information regarding this matter are encouraged to contact the Department of Parks and Wildlife Services on 9219 9000.

08.01.2022 SHED BUILDER WARNING - ALBANY Consumer Protection is warning about an Albany shed seller which it claims has accepted more than $200,000 for work b...ut failed to provide service. CP has received 19 complaints against Aussie Sheds Albany in the past week, after customers allegedly paid a combined $226,000 for work and either received no service or service that wasn't up to scratch. Commissioner Lanie Chopping said the incidents were "concerning". "At this stage it is vital that all consumers who have either paid deposits or the full amount for sheds that have yet to be constructed get in touch with us," she said. "[The owner] has not yet responded to our attempts to conciliate the complaints. "Affected consumers who have paid by credit card but not received any goods or services should consider contacting their credit card provider and requesting a chargeback." Consumers in the Great Southern or any other area of WA who have paid money for a shed but have yet to have the work completed are urged to lodge an online complaint on the Consumer Protection website, by email [email protected] or by calling 1300 30 40 54.

07.01.2022 Anonymous Hi just wanting too let you know my son and two of his mates all same age so 9 were at piesse dam having a play and my son came home freaked out saying they picked up a bag opened it and found a needle with an elastic band... the kids have freaked out thrown the bag and all came home this was near the bridge near the water unsure what end!!!
