22.01.2022 Blush Lips This beautiful look like this straight after the needle, almost no swelling for her sadness as she wanted to see her lips bigger Swelling is something inevitable on blush lips, some people get a crazy big lips like myself, others look just fine, it comes down to how your body will react. Swelling does go down within 24hours so nothing to worry about, but the best recommendation is go home and have a rest after your procedure.

14.01.2022 New Year, New Studio Like I mentioned previously, doing a studio Reno’s in a world of a pandemic takes a lot of time these days Our studio it’s almost finished, but here are some clicks. This colourful mural was painted by the amazing @finelinetattoosperth, it’s funny how our plans for the new place started in one way and ended by trowing colourful things everywhere But the final result It’s a nice open bright space, with amazing daylight and garden vibes! 13.01.2022 Just a natural shape and tinting passing on your timeline. The most frequent request I get from blonde clients is: I don’t want my brows too dark so here is a beautiful example of how you could have a nice tint that doesn’t look over the top :)

12.01.2022 Blush Lips Slowly becoming more and more popular, so I’ll share here so information about this procedure. The most common question I get is: Does it hurt? I honestly nearly fell asleep doing my lips, and lots of my clients also feel super relaxed while doing it, however, if you have low pain threshold then it’s a different story, but I will classify it a 3/10 :) ... Does it gonna make my lips bigger? Yes, and No. Yes, it will give your lips definition and symmetry and colour, which can give the look of fuller lips, however, when talking about volume, then-No. If you need actual volume on your lips, I would recommend doing a little bit of filler, something like 0.5 ml, which will look super natural and make your lips plumped, then we can finalize your lips with blush tattooing. For lips fillers, I recommend the best in business, the girls at @blanc_perth , wouldn’t trust my clients anywhere else, and they will never give you the duck lips How long does it last? I generally say 3 years, but it can last more or less depending on your metabolism, have clients over 1.5 already and they going super well with no touch-ups needed. It feels like forever I don’t post here, just passing to say I’m alive and well I feel like 2021 started like a hurricane to me, all together all at once throw at my face! So new studio it’s done (sort of) still lots to do, but Covid it’s delaying everything and everyone, so meanwhile I’m working and fixing the little bits as I go. Appointments still pretty crazy (good thing) fully booked until April House Reno’s are back for 2021 ... And now my new venture of teaching! I’ve been getting lots of inquiries about it (thank you very much) I will be releasing more info very soon, just need to adjust the final bits. So as you can see there is never a dull moment here I’ll try keep on top of social media a bit more, there is so much beautiful photos to be posted. And that’s it for now! This was done on oily skin, so strokes are more spaced out to guarantee her brows won't become blurry, also correct implantation is a must to avoid stroke migration. Oily skin types are not a contraindication for feather touch but are important to address with the client that I need to adjust the technique to suit each skin type. 08.01.2022 Signature brows There is this trend of signature brows that I hear it all the time and for some reason that never seat well with me, I just don’t believe in this term at all. The term signature if you think about it, means doing something always in the same way, identical, over and over again, now, could I do the same brow for over 10 different people? The short answer is no, but I’ve seen it way too many times. Either brow shaping or Cosmetic Tattooing, I believe that ea...ch individual is unique and therefore you will have unique brows made to suits only you! It’s important to follow your face structure, bones, skin, hair direction to achieve a natural-looking brow, and that I called style. Yes I definitely have a style that I’m more inclined and prefer it, however, I’m also proud to look back on all of my work and see that every single brow is just different as it should. 08.01.2022 Bookings Hellou beautiful people, have you been trying to book an appointment with me but there are no appointments available until 2022? Don’t stress, I’m busy, but not that busy! The reason is, online bookings are only available 2 months ahead of the current time, which means there are no appointments available for the next 2 months, however, I'm fully booked until June. So the next a lot of appointments will become available around end of April beginning of May. 07.01.2022 Byeee 2020! Literally what a year people! Reflecting back, I can only be so grateful that despite all the challenges we made it!! So here it’s my year in a brief resume! Beginning of 2020, I recovered from a wrist surgery of my dominant hand, it was a very scary thing to go through, especially when I rely so much on my hands for my job, but thankfully here I’m 1-year post-surgery, no pain anymore and fully recovered ... February I moved studios to Subiaco, I met the amazing @finelinetattoosperth and we became roommates I honestly couldn’t ask for a better person to go through 2020 other than Emma March, that was when everything flipped upside down, Covid-19 hit us and it was the scariest thing to go through, as for my personal life, giving the majority of my family still lives overseas, but also a big challenge for my business where I had to close my doors for long 3 months. 3 months in lockdown made me reflect a lot, it was full of ups and downs, but in my head I made a commitment that I was gonna keep getting up early every day, and I was gonna focus on other aspects of my business, so I made videos, I produced content, I started writing my business blog, I rebranded, I pretty much kept working the way I could so when I was allowed to open everything was ready to go! June we were finally allowed to open again, and OMG I had the best response from my clients, the fear I had of things not going back to normal quickly disappeared, you guys kept me so busy, and everyone was so happy to come in, it was honestly better than I could have imagined! The biggest thank you goes to every client that made a booking and supported my business during the most challenging times I had so far. From June to December it was literally non-stop working, my business also got featured at @urbanlistper & @perthisok as one of the best eyebrows places in Perth, what an honour On top of all that we managed to sell our house, buy another house and start a house Reno, that was hectic A big shout out to the most supportive partner who helped me so much during this difficult times and together we made it happen! December when I finally thought I was gonna relax, I put myself into a new project! I’m moving studios and renovating (Again) haha Emma and I have been working to make it happen, endless texts, lots of unforeseen situations lots of glass of wines and I finally can see the light at the end of the tunnel, we are going to reopen for 2021 on an amazing brand new studio! And that’s a wrap, people! I need to say the biggest THANK YOU, to each person that came through my business this year, you helped me to get through and kept me going, thank you for all your bookings, for all the amazing chats, for the amazing new clients I met this year, and for the pleasure to help so many wonderful women to feel beautiful. 06.01.2022 Holidays hours What a year it has been people!! I think we all deserve a good break this year, so my last day at the studio will be on the 24th of December, and I’ll be back on the 19th of January, bring on the holidays

06.01.2022 Skin lifting Have you ever had your brows waxed and you were left with a part of your skin that looks like it was burnt If yes, this post is for you, you can also click save it to read it later ;)... What looks and feels like a skin burn, causing stinging and redness is actually what we call skin lifting. This can happen if your skin is very sensitive, but also, it can happen to you at any time of your life even if you have been getting your brows waxed for years (aka myself) I was waxing my brows the other day and I ended with a skin lift, so why is this happens? Very likely this is linked to your skincare, topicals that thin out the skin such as retinol/retinoids, acids, peels and strong antibiotics can make your skin very sensitive and potentially cause a skin lift during your wax appointment. But Kat, I don’t apply my skincare on my brows?! Yes true, but the product travels on your skin, and it can also be transferred into your pillow, hands etc, so even tho we don’t deliberately apply it on the brows, it will ultimately make its way there. What can you do? Avoid using actives 1-2 weeks before your brow wax, which will minimise the results of a skin lift. Avoid getting any facials that involve skins peels, lasers, microdermabrasion and others 1-2 weeks before your wax appointment. Always notify the person who will be waxing your brows if you have made any changes on your skincare, or if you had a facial or are currently taking antibiotics, there is a wax which is designed for sensitive skin that is possible that can work for you. Lastly, if none of them works, the only way to remove unwanted hairs without damage your skin is the old and good plucking. 03.01.2022 Brow Wax n Tint & Lash Lift Sometimes I get asked if I do the humble brow shape and tint, and yes 100%! Even though cosmetic tattooing is one of my favorite things to do it, I enjoy and love doing "normal" brows, if you ask me to pick my favorite thing, I couldn't, it's like picking a favorite child So if you want eventually to book in for cosmetic tattooing but aren't sure yet, you can always just book in for a brow shape and then we go from there.
