15.01.2022 Here is my latest COVID-19 update and where I stand.... It is a requirement of me as a Remedial Therapist to be a member of an Industry Association in order to maintain my Health Fund Provider status, so my clients can claim rebates with their health funds. It is a tricky industry that although I know has been given the go-ahead by government, there is no black and white solution, and I am grateful to my association for keeping my best interests at their foremost priority. T...herapist's cannot maintain a safe social distance of 1.5 m in any circumstances. My association have released new risk assessment protocols for biosecurity measures within my industry. As I operate 80% of my practice from home and have shared facilities for clients and my family members, I have certain risks that need to be considered. Whilst most of them can be eradicated, some cause me considerate concern for my family's health and safety. As many of you know, I have a child with special needs. His body doesn't self regulate his thermostat, and we often don't know he is unwell with viral infections until his body breaks out in a rash, or worse. With this in mind, it breaks my heart to announce that until further notice, I am totally unavailable to operate my business. For the time being, I will keep my business closed but will continue with industry education and complete the required online COVID-19 government courses to operate my business again once I am able. I truely am sorry for the inconvenience this causes. However I know you will understand. Sincerely, Kate xx

13.01.2022 Sponsorship! Can’t wait to hear what my sponsor kids learn about the longevity of the life of a Crusty Demon after meeting their idols!

10.01.2022 9:30am and 11:00am appointments have become available for tomorrow. Message me if you’d like a spot.

06.01.2022 Today was Aged Care Employee Day and I was stoked to volunteer my day to treating the employees at Ray M Begg, Kyneton to a massage. It was a way for me to say thanks for the awesome care the staff provide to our precious Mary Neale. What I really got a kick out of today, was the love and care the staff show the residents, and the passion they have for what they do. It’s like each person they care for is their own family, and the conversations I had with each of them made m...e feel warm and fuzzy inside. With so many dodgy aged care facilities in the media of late, we are so lucky to have this community-based aged care home in our local area. and these super hero’s deserve to be celebrated! Big shout out to all the aged care workers out there! You guys are brilliant and very much appreciated. You should be paid so much more. I can’t wait to grow old and move in!!

06.01.2022 AMT is calling on Federal Health Minister, Greg Hunt, and the COAG Health Ministers to recognise the potential role of massage therapists under the National Strategic Plan for Pain Management. http://blog.amt.org.au//is-massage-therapy-part-of-austra/

05.01.2022 Apologies if I have not been replying to text messages. They seem to be getting lost in the iCloud blackhole somehow. I thought I had solved the issue, but apparently not

04.01.2022 Needed a break anyway I guess

04.01.2022 Hi everyone, Just to let you know I will be taking a little break with the family for the Easter school holidays and will be offline. Back to work on Tuesday 23rd April and can take appointments and new bookings then. Happy Easter all. ... Stay safe. See more

03.01.2022 *Just a bit of an update for everyone. Unfortunately, I am still unable to take bookings at this time due to the virus. My association, AMT, is not allowing therapists back to work at this stage. ... I am spending my days assisting the kids with their remote schooling. Year seven maths is a killer . Cody has coloured my hair pink (chemistry) and Lewis is wagging today due to a slight fever, which I am monitoring. Dougie is missing meeting and greeting you all. And I am missing all of your beautiful faces. I hope you are all travelling well and that everyone is healthy. I’ll be in touch when I am able to return to work and continue treatments.

02.01.2022 Great day at work when you get baby cuddles with this cutie I didn’t want to give him back
