23.01.2022 Hi everyone! This is me before i chopped all my hair off (since #mumlife and im pretty sure the school mums had started calling me 'the hat lady'.... Anyway Hi. its been awhile since i put my face on here so i thought id share 5 random (useless) facts about me - so here goes! 1. I like my showers HOT - like 600 degrees - even in summer... 2. There is no amount of money you could pay me to go on those gravity defying rides at amusement parks. 3. Second the above point for h...orror movies! @katiewyattartist 4. No matter how bad a movie is - once i start watching I HAVE. TO. FINISH! (Meanwhile hubs falls asleep 10 minutes in and then wants me to recount the last 1.5 hours he missed!) 5. I love maidenhair ferns but just can't keep the darn divas alive! How about you? I'd love to know a random fact about you below! Have a great night

18.01.2022 Its been a hectic year for our family so ive neglected social media a little in favor of being Mumma to my boys and chief home organiser! My eldest started school, we moved house and i took Mr. 4 out of his 2 days a week childcare to spend more time with him before he starts kindy next year... ive still been painting away in the background doing lots of commissions but im sorry i havent been sharing it all....i have so many exciting things coming in 2019 so stay tuned and hopefully some of those plans will be just what youve been waiting for! 14.01.2022 Nearly finished! Both the painting AND the room clean up... we moved Easter last year and up until 2 days ago this was our 'guest bedroom' commonly known as the junk room! Swipe to see the 'before' which was actually already half way through! do you have a junk room where you just close the door and pretend it doesnt exist - or are you Marie Kondo level tidy?!

12.01.2022 Im out of hibernation! So much was happening the past few months i just needed a time out - and i finally feel like im starting to find my rhythm again. I've got some new work to share really soon (in my new house) but for now - here is a commission ive been working on.. nearly finished. Xxxx

10.01.2022 I had no idea what to do with this room when we moved in - was it the world's smallest formal dining? Was it a playroom? Annoyingly its got one wall that is almost not a wall at all and opens into the front living space - and another wall with an open doorway so options for furniture placement were doing my head in! After a few months of moving furniture around i finally decided it would be my office space! And YAY! So happy with it now my desk (two ikea desks actually) fills the wall so i have plenty of space to work and have the boys sitting next to me getting LEGO everywhere too Pictured here is an original painting that i finished last year and will finally be online tomorrow. The square frame has an A3 size of my "On My Way" print.

04.01.2022 So its indecisive Monday for me! Cant decide if these are finished or not!? .. usually they speak to me but these two are just giving me the silent treatment. What do you guys think? Leave them alone or splash some more paint on?

03.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone! Its 45 degrees in Adelaide right now and since weve already lost power once im that i can actually sleep here tonight and not in the tub filled with ice! according to some i have a 2 degree temperature tolerance before i complain its too hot or too cold!! pictured is my latest commission right before i pulled her off her frame and rolled her up to send her off to the US - (which id usually be totally jealous of... except right now they seem to be playing out a really bad hollywood disaster movie in reality ???!!!!)

01.01.2022 Finding stuff for boys rooms is hard. Art for boys rooms? REALLY hard! So i thought well seeing as i play with paint for a living maybe i should quit complaining and create some art for my boys rooms myself. So - here we go! Right in the middle of creating this series which can obviously hang anywhere but will look especially awesome in any room where pink is not welcome! In addition to abstract mountains, this week i'll make a start on the dinosaurs that ive been putting off since Mr 6 really is a dinosaur drawing expert and well - im sure ill hear about it if the dinosaurs dont meet expectations! ... Is there anything else you wished existed for your boys rooms??? Let me know below
