19.01.2022 Let it go With gentle daily practice it’s absolutely possible.

18.01.2022 Keely on meditation // I learnt Vedic meditation two years ago. I’ve suffered crippling anxiety for much of my life and I’d seen huge changes in a friend’s life. What I didn’t expect was that my daily meditation practice would help make me a BETTER MUM. A more present mum. A kinder, gentler mum. It has helped me see the world through my children’s inquisitive eyes, and enabled me to slow down and to stop to enjoy HERE and NOW. Two years ago I went to bed feeling like absolut...e crap. I felt guilty about overreacting to something my daughter had done, how I had to be away so often for work or how much tv I’d let her watch because I needed a mental break from the intensity of toddler demands. I felt like I was absolutely at my limit. I meditate twice a day for twenty minutes (as much as I can). I think of it as a meeting with myself. I sit and go inwards and come out feeling energised and with so much more of me to give to the kids. I don’t go to bed and lay awake thinking about all the ways I’m failing at motherhood anymore. I put my head on the pillow and sleep deeply until the baby wakes for a feed. I don’t walk around yelling at myself in my mind or wanting to run to the car and never come home. I’m sure there’s other Mums and dads out there that feel like I did. Guilty. Work out. Broken down. Lacking space and time for yourselves. So I wanted to share my story in the hope it helps someone else. You never know, learning Vedic Meditation might be the life saver you’ve been looking for. It certainly was for me

09.01.2022 You are here on purpose. You are here with a purpose. Your experiences have purpose. Your life has purpose. Embrace the absolute miracle that is you

09.01.2022 My 10 year old client this week told me that now that she meditates she sees that her life and her emotions are like the ocean. That sometimes things are all churned up, and come crashing down around you, and sometimes things are smooth and calm. She told me she’s been meditating twice a day, everyday, and feels like she’s in that calm, smooth place right now and that she knows that when things feel like they’re swirling around and getting rougher again, she’s knows how to find that still, smooth, calm place within herself :: @benmack_

03.01.2022 Smiling from ear to ear after an incredible weekend away wakeboarding for the very first time! I love that life is still full of firsts. Wakeboarding has never been on my bucket list but it felt unbelievably awesome getting out there! And that’s Lake Conjola in the background, doing an amazing job of regenerating after being severely burnt during the fires. I’ve got to say this photo feels pretty symbolic for me. ... I look at it and see a reminder of the infinite healing capabilities our planet and our bodies have. Lake Conjola was absolutely sparkling this weekend which was so beyond beautiful to see. And I’m constantly in awe of what my body is capable of doing. Getting out there and wakeboarding was effortless and yet a huge thing on reflection. After I was hit by a car it took a long time and a lot of meditating to feel comfortable being in a car. When that accident happened I was riding on the bonnet at speed screaming for the car to stop. Even before that accident I had such terrible vertigo that going up the lifts to my 14th floor office building each day was a struggle, and I’d get terrible sea sickness and motion sickness so steered clear of boats. So to think that I’ve just had a super fun weekend out on the blast wakeboarding is another beautiful reminder that our nervous systems are capable of anything. Thanks to my super coaches @mitchlark5 @calmlykaotic and all the crew @rosepomfrett @casey.carissa for allll the fun!!!
