10.01.2022 Friday - just advising everyone who has taken an interest in this post that, since last night, I have been in contact with 7 of the business owners who have been impacted and none of them were advised or consulted. UPDATE: You may have noticed that the parking along Alma Road from the Regent Street corner to the Lambton Road corner has been replaced by a building zone, a bus stop and a loading zone. That means there is currently no parking along our 2 blocks and I am really sorry about that. We did not receive any advice that this would be happening and I have rung the Council for information regarding how long these restrictions will be in place. No-one has called me back as yet, so again I apologise for the inconvenience. You may have more luck than I've had if you ring the council on 49742000. Meanwhile, parking is available across the road (on Alma Road), on Lambton Road and in Cromwell Street - also in the Council carpark in Cromwell Street.
