01.01.2022 Feeling so lucky to have Tasmania as my home while the world around me becomes so foreign. Echoing the words of many creatives here but the loss of tours, shows, plans and income is devastating. I am heavy with disappointment, but I'm also holding on to optimism. Our earth gets a break from pollution, and we get a chance to slow down. I can choose to spend this time on writing, on reading those books i never quite finished, on creating, on learning how the fuck to use ableto...n, on forgiving, breathing, being. And with the absence of shows, i would love to explore other ways to connect to you all. we can chat + I could live stream and play some songs. Any other ideas? p.s here's what we can do right now to support artists: buy their music stream their music buy merch leave comments send them messages stay safe
