15.01.2022 People from across the globe, cities, outback communities get together, kick their heels up, share their stories and congregate around a ring of elite riding athletes. Stock according to attending official vet are some of the most well looked after in the country. Attending these rodeo's help's morale and injects much needed funds for outback and regional communities struggling with drought and hardship although there was no sign of grumble...what a blast this rodeo was...gre...at fun and a dance fest under the stars and a dry lightning storm to cool down and close the night with stock grazing on a feast of enriched feed and water. Next Rodeo tomorrow night 7pm, Wilmington South Australia. Today at the Victor Harbor Golf Club the Fleurieu business, corporate and community are driving through extreme heat conditions 40 degrees plus to raise funds for a holiday home for children requiring palliative care or suffering long term chronic illness. A place for their families to relax and create happy memories together. Land has been acquired and building is underway at Encounter Bay.
