20.01.2022 Happy Monday! Anyone who has an upcoming appointment please read through our reopening policies. These have all been sent in your confirmation emails but I am posting here just as a little reminder Our main policy even prior to COVID - please do not come in if you are unwell/been unwell, or have been in contact with someone who is in unwell/been unwell in the last 14 days. This is relates to all illness (Cold, virus, Gastro) We will not be allowing any sniffles even if it is... ‘hayfever’ as we cannot take any chances. Please remember we are a small business so if anyone comes in sick we will have to close and quarantine and a lot of people will miss out - please be mindful Remain a safe distance at all times and avoid touching anything unnecessarily. I will also be checking temperatures before you come into the salon, anyone about 37.5 will be rescheduled. I know there are a lot of new rules but please know they are put in place to protect us all and create a safe space where you can come in and relax for just a little while. 13.01.2022 We are beyond happy that our industry has finally been recognized and our voices have been heard with the amazing news today about the reopening of beauty services alongside hair in stage 3, which is scheduled for the 26th October! We are extremely excited and cannot wait to see you all, we know that you are all eager to make an appt right now however we have decided to hold off on bookings for just a touch longer. The 26th October reopening date is still dependent on cas...es being below 5 for 14 days and as we have all learnt this year, things can change so quickly and dates can get pushed back. We have decided to reassess how things are looking at the start of October and will go from there with bookings which still gives us plenty of time to book you all in. We believe this is the best way moving forward as it eliminates having to reschedule 100’s of appts multiple times. We hope you all understand! 10.01.2022 Hi lash loves, As you may be aware, there has been an outbreak of gastro so we kindly ask that you PLEASE do not attend your appt if you, a family member or anyone you have been around has been unwell in the last 3 days. We would much rather a late cancellation than to all get sick which will result in cancelling many days of clients/appointments. Symptoms can take 3 days to show, so you could still be contagious when coming to your appt even if you feel well so please be e...xtra cautious to ensure we keep everyone safe. We also ask that if you do happen to fall ill after attending an appt at the salon that you let us know so we can prepare and isolate to ensure it is not spread any further to our other clients or staff especially as Kate is pregnant. 10.01.2022 Mega volume Mega volume is our fullest of lash sets that is offered at KGL. It is created by using the finest of lashes which means you can create bigger lash fans using up to 15 lashes Unfortunately, not everyone is a suitable candidate for mega volume. Just like all lash extensions, thickness will depend on the strength and condition of your natural lashes. This client had a lot of natural lashes to begin with so we were able to create a dark and thick mega volume set. ... Please be mindful when booking mega volume with your lash artist that they have had the correct training. Mega volume requires advanced techniques and special attention, if applied incorrectly they can severely damage your natural lashes. Your lashes should still be able to be brushed through like this video ensuring that they are not stuck together. This means that the natural lashes can still grow out it’s cycle without damage. 02.01.2022 Hi everyone, just a little update on bookings. I currently have 45 clients who have paid deposits who will be first priority in booking in which I will be contacting each of you today. Then I have another 40 return clients who will be next in line and need to booked. ... Any new clients or clients I have not seen in the past year will be put on a waitlist and will be contacted once everyone else has been booked in. At the moment I have 25 new clients on this list. If I am unavailable, your bookings will be made with the lovely Ebony. I am working as quick as possible but unfortunately this is a very slow process. Online bookings are currently not available as my books need to be free for first priority clients. * Please note: all clients will be needing full sets which can take up to 2 hours, we then will be blocking out 15 minutes after each client to sterilize and disinfect surfaces and equipment to prepare for the next client. This will mean that we will only be able to see a small handful of clients per day and that appointments will be limited. We will try our very best, but It may take quite a few weeks to fit you all back in so please don’t be expecting an appointment as soon as the doors open.
