01.01.2022 During my couples wedding ceremony today we included the love letter / wine box ritual. It's a fun ritual where you choose a fab bottle of red (or white) and write a love letter to your other half the night before your wedding day. The ritual goes by placing the wine and two letters into the box during the ceremony and hammering a nail into each corner of the box - the groom hammers two nails in and then the bride hammers the other two nails. The box then is opened on your 5...th wedding anniversary - letters read while enjoying the fine wine. My couple it themselves by buying some mdf wood and timber stain to make the box, then Lincraft for some letters and numbers and gold spray paint. The four holes where the gold nails we hammered (in each corner) were already created before the ceremony so during the ceremony Daniel and Julia only need to hammer each nail softly into their spots making the hammering look effortless and elegant! #JDTRINH #marriedbykate #sydneywedding #love #makingmemories #lovemycouples #ido
