22.01.2022 The NEW VIDEO for Highest Truth is here! Hey beautiful soul fam, I'm so delighted to share with you the video clip for 'Highest Truth', which is the second track off my new album/EP Rebirth Dreaming album, which i released in December 2020. It was a joy to meet Dave, Neil, Jules and other Dave (the video guy) at Currumbin Rock before sunrise to prepare and then film the clip as the sun was rising. A couple of our beautiful friends also joined us for a dance on the beach. It ...just happened that th Swell Sculpture Festival was happening at the time and the rock had its own art installation. So grateful to create and collaborate in music with these incredible humans. We all share a reverence for the ground we walk, live and play on and carry this in our daily lives. It is with knowing this in our hearts that we can also trust - if things are really meant for us, it is not possible that they can just pass by.. if its meant to be, it will be. How relaxing. When I first came across this statement, I felt a deep relaxation in my nervous system. Its not about not taking any action... but having a relaxed approach rather than one of stress, effort or fear that if "i don't do this or that im going to fail" ... if it doesnt work out, it probably wasn't meant for me anyway, so the sooner I can work that out, the sooner I can direct my energy into other projects/people/things that are more fully aligned!! 19.01.2022 While out in the field the other day In regenerating bushland, I was fascinated by the hundreds of tiny little mushrooms that were carpeting the forest floor after rain. I took some sneaky moments to capture some of the different forms and put it into a little video, complemented by one of my favourite songs recorded with my beautiful band Leopold's Treat. As I compiled the video, I received the message: "There is always new growth after a big rain." I felt such lightness was...h over me, having a recent unexpected change of circumstances rock my world, and my heart. Seeing hundreds of these tiny little gorgeous fungi coming up through the litter was a delight. When they die, they will go back into the soil to help provide nutrients to the plants around them. Ahh, the beauty of nature. Song title: "Don't give up on love" - such a good reminder. A warm hug for those who need it in these dynamic times of change.
