25.01.2022 INSPO! I collected these gorgeous paper daisies from my Aunt's house yesterday. I think they might possibly be my most favourite flower. When I look at them like this I can see similarities in my work at the moment, amazing what your subconscious can produce. Hope you're enjoying a relaxing summery long weekend.

25.01.2022 I am sooo in love with all these scummy little details from my latest work which I can't show you in full yet but it feels like skipping through a Spring garden so I've named it Twinkle Toes. It will be going to @walchagallery for an exhibition opening on the 16th of October so if you are thinking this might be for you it's large, from memory over 1m square. Stay tuned for more info on the exhibition and who I'll be showing with...so exciting!

24.01.2022 So many exciting things happening this month! Another sneaky peek of a new work soon to become available in the @greenhouseinteriors Life Online exhibition which opens on the 23rd of October. I have 5 works in this exhibition this is the smallest at 54 x 54cm including the frame, called Gelato Blooms. Get yourself on either my mailing list or Greenhouse Interiors to keep up to date on this event, you won't want to miss it. It's all just so much fun when you get the opportunity to celebrate art like this and I'm very grateful to the Greenhouse team for making it happen for all their artists.

23.01.2022 I'm so excited to have a gorgeous new stockist in Cammeray NSW @thehuntedco They are a big fan of colour too so I can't wait to see this new work BUSY BEES in store. It's on the way so stay tuned and we'll see what they do with it!

21.01.2022 Deliciously colourful...these beautiful macaroons @poppiesforgrace are all the inspiration I need this morning. Such fun colours! Would you believe I used to make these all the time for my Cake Crumbs business. There certainly is an art to it, doubt if I could make them now although I may have to try as my son Sam is keen to learn! Swipe right to see some of mine from years ago.

19.01.2022 Would you look at this!! I don't often go in for purple but this is definitely fit for a Prince Just the right amount of extravagance. 17.01.2022 GERONIMO! meaning: 'used to express exhilaration, especially when leaping from a great height or moving at speed.' Such a good word to express how I work when I paint....always a leap of faith, fast and exhilarating...perfect! This brand newbie is on it's way to @jumbledonline It measures 106 x 81cm framed in oak.

07.01.2022 Another sneaky peek at a work finished for the exhibition with @walchagallery in October. This one is called The Unicorn's garden because I do love a bit of colour...and a bit more colour! 06.01.2022 I had such a great day in the studio today, one of those lucky days when everything just seems to come together and it's FUN! We had a blackout today which actually turned out to be a very good thing. When I had my lunch break I actually sat and read my book for a while instead of office work because I couldn't use the computer and it was so relaxing. Perhaps that's why the creative flow seemed to go so well today....must do it more often. Swipe right to see some deta...ils from today's work which is large 96 x 126.5cm. 04.01.2022 NEW WORK! It's good to be back in the swing of things after a great Easter break. Feeling very grateful that we got to do our usual skiing trip to the dam, can't take anything for granted these days with the big C still lurking. Hope you all had a great weekend too. This piece is soon to go up for sale @greenhouseinteriors It's called A Fresh Start....because it is very fresh looking and it's my first piece for April. 80 x 64cm once it's been framed which won't happen until next Thursday. 02.01.2022 NEW.... I have just sent this fun new work off to the colourful @crateexpectations this afternoon. I spent ages trying to decide what to call this one and in the end I have resorted to a made up name to reflect how this feels to me. FLUTTERBUG...yes those could be little flowers but they also could be butterflies alighting on that big red flower and well why not make up a name when It's as cute as Flutterbug It measures 81 x 106.5cm with the usual gorgeous raw oak box frame.
