25.01.2022 So another update from Kate’s place. The staffing issues continue we will be opening this Saturday and Sunday but only til 3pm(kitchen closes at 2pm). This way we can make sure that we can get you all fed and watered before the craziness of school starting again

24.01.2022 Hello!!!! Would anybody like some coffee grinds??? Our usual person hasn’t been by for awhile, and we’ve got a whole lot of excess. So if you’d like some just pop by the back of Kates Place and grab yourself a bag. If there’s none left on the driveway just ask the staff, there’s more!!! Lots more!!!

23.01.2022 Well it’s not the view we are used to be it’s gonna look great Tomorrow they will be taking the footpath up right outside the cafe. Due to this we won’t have any furniture outside and it will be best to enter from the back. Bear with us during this as when it’s finished we’ll be able to seat more of you lovely people outside Oh and the phone is back working again

22.01.2022 Is everybody enjoying the school holidays??? We’ve noticed that people are enjoying a later lunch at the minute so from Friday Kate’s place kitchen will be open for another hour 7am-3pm with paninis, chips, milkshakes and cakes served up to 5pm.

22.01.2022 It’s Christmas We love this time of year at Kate’s Place we’ve set up a little Elf corner with colouring/stickers for the kids we will display them in the window and there will be prizes for the best and cheekiest elves. The kids are entertained and they can win you coffees and cakes what more could you want

19.01.2022 It certainly feels like it’s warming up in Albany and to celebrate we’re adding a salad special to our menu if you’re a lamb lover you’ll drool over this dish. Lamb cooked in yogurt and mint tossed in with carrot, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, feta, lettuce and capsicum. 18.01.2022 Great news!!!!! We have our new staff member joining Kate’s Place next week this will help us all out massively in what is been a testing time for everyone(all over Australia). It does unfortunately leave us short for one day and we will be closing at 11.30am tomorrow(Thursday 25th). Please let people know as to avoid disappointment. 05.01.2022 Happy Friday Beautiful Albany People. Just a quick note to clear up a few issues. Our google account has recently been hacked into with all of our information changed. We are currently open 7 days a week from 7am-5pm kitchen closes at 2pm but hot chips, paninis and soup available after this time. Have a great weekend everyone
