11.01.2022 For Christian and Claudine - A 1ct custom faceted Australian sapphire in 18ct yellow gold. This stone was mined and cut in Queensland and displays a deep and varying array of greens depending on the light. Hand made with love for a wonderful couple. Congratulations you two!

11.01.2022 Sending my biggest congratulations to Ben and his wonderful fellow on their engagement! Ben came to see me several weeks ago with a piece of New Zealand jade which we custom cut to fit his idea. There were a few details that Ben wanted to include in the ring - particular angles and curves which all worked beautifully together. What an absolute pleasure to make this for you - makes my heart sing!

11.01.2022 The sweetest gift - A few years ago I made a yellow sapphire engagement ring for Liv. When Liv's God daughter was recently born, she wanted to have a keepsake made for baby Hazel - a piece she could grow with and have for always. We decided on this lovely pale 0.5ct yellow sapphire, set into a simple satin finish pendant. As clear and sparkly as the sunshine..

10.01.2022 Two rings for two wonderful women - 18ct white gold, garnet and black sapphire. These were custom made for singing sensations Libby O'Donovan and Beccy Cole, based on their favourite flower, the sturt desert pea. From several options, they selected these stones and let me do the rest. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to make these for you both! You can read about their wedding in the current edition of the The Australian Women's Weekly... #loveislove #yes

09.01.2022 A few weeks ago, Michael brought these collected tektites (natural glass created during the impact of a meteorite) in with the request that they be made into a set of rings for his wife and two daughters. The settings were shaped around the individual curves of each stone and then seated into the band. With these curves as a guide to the style and shape of the setting, the result is a smooth and organic finish. Thanks Michael!

09.01.2022 The result of a bit of teamwork. Queensland sapphires fossicked by superwoman Ky Furneaux, cut by Langford Gems and Lapidary and made into a necklace by me. This piece is now around Ky's neck, ready for adventure!

09.01.2022 Double cage drop earrings - Hand made in sterling silver with 18ct yellow gold dots. 08.01.2022 For Suzanne - These gemstones hold a multitude of stories. One of these stones has been with Suzanne for a very long time, the other is new. A blue topaz set, the ring in 18ct white gold and the pendant in silver. Beautiful shimmering cool tones, I really can't wait to see them on her!

07.01.2022 A flashy deep blue opal set in lightly textured 18ct rose gold. A stunning combination - Thank you Laura!

07.01.2022 Now safely at it's new home, an Art Deco inspired engagement ring for Ben. I searched high and low to find the right central stone for Bens bespoke piece - a stunning emerald cut tsavorite garnet. The white sapphire shoulder stones came next, with a heavy band to compliment the 'steps' created by the stones. Thank you so much Ben and Jamie for the opportunity to create this piece for you. Congratulations again! x x

06.01.2022 A truly beautiful result with these custom cut (by Langford gems) Australian sapphires set in palladium silver. A second set on their way to a lucky lady. This many corners is quite time consuming but absolutely worth the end product. Thank you Ky x x x x
