17.01.2022 Late last night, I wandered outside and happened to look up at the night's sky and this was the amazing sight I saw!! This was directly overhead at after 11 - hello milky way!! I quickly grabbed my camera from my desk and used a piece of firewood and my wheatpack underneath and shot directly up into the sky. I am unfortunately off my feet with a back injury following someone running into the back of my ute, and carrying my heavy tripod is just out of the question. But where t...here is a will, there is way!! I hope you get out here to the Scenic Rim to see the amazing starry skies we are so blessed to see that are so much clearer, away from the lights of surburbia! 06.01.2022 The weekend is here! Now that travel restrictions within QLD are lifted, time to head out into the spectacular Scenic Rim to see what it has to offer. Foggy mornings are an incredible sight in winter, make sure you bring the camera along! Enjoy local shopping, great cafes and plenty of local produce to purchase and take home!

03.01.2022 Is anyone else listening to the beautiful sound of rain falling tonight? For those up in Nth Qld, I’m sure it’s not as comforting for those of us further south. I hope you stay safe as TC Kimi brings more rain to the regions. In the South East corner we’re definitely receiving so more beautiful rain - it is so welcomed!! Maybe not for us cricket fans whom are hoping tomorrow’s weather is dry enough for the Aussies to wrap up the test match, but for those of us rural, it’s a... welcomed drop of rain we are always in need of. If you’re area is experiencing flash flooding, please stay home and stay safe! DO NOT ever enter flood waters, especially not for a photo or cool video for social media - just don’t! Stay safe, enjoy the sounds of the beautiful rain falling and enjoy!

Again, just lazy shooting from my front patio using my wheat pack to hold my camera haha - whatever works right!! Hopefully I'll be up to getting out again soon!
