The neon lights are oh so bright and relentless at night. The continuous hum of cars and trains remind us that were not in Kansas anymore. 24.01.2022 Reflections....Nine years ago today my Mum entered her last 48 hours of life. Every year, I revisit the memories and the emotions that came with this period of immense change and challenge. The most amazing memory I have from this time comes just two months after her diagnoses when we went to Malaysia to have a family holiday and make memories together. We stayed at a place we had stayed many times before and the phenomenal staff organised for my family to go and release bab...y turtles back into the ocean. My Mum, one of the great animal lovers on the planet, got so much enjoyment and happiness at releasing these little turtles back into the ocean from the sanctuary. For her, seeing them go and start their lives was magnificent, beautiful and overwhelming. Memories are such a gift! I trust that you all making amazing memories with your family and loved ones during this period.
