The framed picture would always get me a little lost in wonder as a little girl. I hope this beautiful mother gets lost in her image, her story when she looks back on it years later as she holds her little babe in this chapter of her life x

Her smile was infectious and capturing her nestled in wildflowers as she watches her baby was all kinds of lovely. 14.01.2022 The way he looked at her all afternoon was lovely to watch. Listening to some of the chapters in his life and her life, how they met was nice. Her smile and beautiful heart was a joy to be around. You could feel a kindness oozing from her. This beautiful girl said yes to capturing this time in her life. Something she wanted to do but doubted along the way ~ should she? does she look ok? All those questions we ask ourselves and then put it off until that later date that never ...comes. However she did say yes and I was so grateful that she asked and trusted me to capture her. At one point she stripped right down something she wasn’t sure if she could do but wanted to. She did do it and embraced her beautiful body, this amazing time in her life as she nurtures her first born. At the end she couldnt stop smiling and told me how great she felt, liberated. I felt so happy that together we held space for each other because I got so much out of it myself. A full heart and beautiful reminders for myself. Wandering with these two dear people and witnessing a little snippet of their beautiful life together was incredibly beautiful. . . @mountview_homestead_

13.01.2022 The question is not what you look at but what you see Henry David Thoreau. I have always found a beauty within this photo and pulled in by it.... It feels like home for me, like I’m stepping into her step with her. Those familiar feels and love of carrying our babies or little ones touching you as you walk. Collecting pieces of nature with the hand that is free just because, not really thinking why but pulled to touch it, just to feel it or maybe to bring some home.... Meeting the last bit of light of her day, bare feet on the earth that grounds her. Her patience and the tenderness she holds in her heart with a readiness or ease to let go of the day, her thoughts ~ what will be will be. What do you see...

13.01.2022 Find a seed at the bottom of your heart and bring forth a flower ~ shigenori kameoka. I love this image ~ seeing her let go, her just feeling through a fleeting moment. Her sense of freedom and strength was admired. Today I saw a big patch of wild grass be wild in this crazy wind we are experiencing the past few days and I turned to my friend and said I just want to put a beautiful family, mother.... in that grass and let them feel as I capture and see them. I do love capturing and seeing you as you always see a little of me as we walk together~

Clare lives a couple of houses down from me and I had the privilage capturing her immersed in motherhood in the sweetest skirt, bare feet, kids wandering, at home ~ my kind of girl. Whenever I am with her we laugh and time slips away talking. She always makes me do big belly laughs, is honest, kind and loves being a mother. I loved that I captured her laughing, this is her. I cant wait to share a little more of our time together as we wandered under her clothesline, sat on her front steps and sat in pockets of light in her home

07.01.2022 As a little girl I had a couple of spots I would often go on my own, always in nature and would quietly slip away and just needed to be in it. My children are drawn to spaces like this too and need it. They are continually drawing me back into nature with them. A child’s awe and wonder when immersed in it, is something quite beautiful for the soul, for our hearts. Their questions, their calmness, their joy, discoveries and play. Time slips away and you always feel a little more like you.
