07.01.2022 There is no denying 2020 is going to be a hard year for the economy We are certainly living in unprecedented times with the challenge against the virus and its impact on our economy. It is definitely not business as usual. Understandably,we are receiving a lot of questions about COVID. 19 and the potential impact it could have on the property market,particularly across South East Queensland.... We have to acknowledge that consumer confidence is a big influencer in the market place and it is clear that buying and selling is not a high priority for some right now due to the widespread health and economic concerns,this could lead to a fall in demand for properties. This does not mean we will see a significant rapid fall in prices- but there is likely to be a reduction in demand. We need to remain optimistic-we are already seeing anxiety levels starting to lift because of the stimulus response.
