24.01.2022 The ground staff at the Golf Club, today officially opened the new tee block on hole No 2 for play. Congratulations to Kirsty Herring and the staff on another improvement on the course. Appropriate that it is thank a Superintendent day.!!

24.01.2022 Congratulations to the winners of the Stroke event held Sunday 22nd A Grade - Matthew Sharman B Grade - Simon Smith C Grade - Richard Kenafake ... Next Sunday is Stableford I will attempt to get the December games in to the computer today.

22.01.2022 Reminder - seeing a lot of divots on the course again, take a bucket of sand with you & fill in your divots. The grounds staff have the right to ask you to leave the course if you don’t carry a sand bucket (as stated on the sign at the 5th tee block) or are seen to be doing the wrong thing. There are buckets & sand on the 1st & 5th tee blocks & bins of sand around the course, please use them.

21.01.2022 SAVE THE DATE We are looking at having our Katherine Golf Club presentation night Saturday 5 December. It will be a sit 3 course down dinner in the bistro, we need everyone that wishes to attend to purchase tickets (price TBA) so the staff know how many to cater for. Will update you once we have worked out the final details.

09.01.2022 It’s a wee bit wet so today’s golf game has been postponed until next Sunday. Apparently we have a new water feature on the first (not surprised, we’ve had 60m...m up to 6:30). Drinks, nibbles & presentation will take place after the game. Hope you have a lazy Sunday and we will see you all out there next weekend.

They are usually happy to wait while you finish the hole you are playing so please don’t take advantage of their patience & hit numerous balls. Finish the hole & move on. There is a driving range & practice green available if you want to hit numerous balls.

05.01.2022 Margaret Fay Cox 14.02.1930 - 22.08.2020... The family would like to welcome Fay’s Friends to join them at 10am, Thursday 27 August to celebrate her life. Funeral to be conducted in its entirety at the Katherine Memorial Cemetery followed by light refreshments at the Katherine Museum.
