19.01.2022 Save the date! End of term bbq and social comp - Saturday Sep 26! Next Saturday morning is the final week of juniors coaching for the term so the week after (Sep 26) we would like to have a bbq and mini social comp on the Saturday morning. We will post and email out more details soon but feel free to let us know in the comments if you/your kids are interested

17.01.2022 Bad news for today: we are short of volunteers again this week so have to cancel Tuesday arvo juniors practice sorry! Good news: we are going ahead with our end-of-term mini-comp and bbq on Saturday morning! If you haven't already let us know you are coming then please do. We will organise matches for the kids (all levels). We have a bunch of senior players coming too so adults are welcome to come and have a game as well! Interested? Send us a message and we'll make sure you get a game on Saturday

15.01.2022 Tuesday Junior practice cancelled this week Unfortunately with some of our key volunteers away we can't run Tuesday afternoon juniors practice this week This is a good reminder that the club is run by volunteers and that we do need more helpers chipping in - please let us know if you can help. We will be back next week for Tuesday practice and for those juniors in Saturday morning Hotshots we will also see you on Saturday We will also be sending out an email about our end of term bbq and mini-comp on the morning of Saturday September 26. 08.01.2022 Hey all. Katherine Tennis Club would love to hold a special mini-comp and bbq and on the first Saturday morning of school holidays (September 26). It's a great opportunity for juniors to play a fun mini-comp and put their skills into practice. For any seniors out there looking for an extra hit please join in too. This is a great chance for everyone involved in Katherine Tennis to come together for a friendly hit and get together (before it gets too ridiculously hot and then s...tarts raining). Details: Date: Saturday morning, September 26 Time: Come down from 8:00am onwards for a 8:30am start. (We aim to finish by 11am but this will depend on numbers) Depending on numbers, we would like to hold mini round-robin comps for Red Ball, Orange Ball, Green Ball and 1 or 2 to senior divisions (depending on numbers) We will organise a bbq and if members can bring something to share for morning tea (as a way to say thank you to club volunteers) that'd be awesome To enter a mini-comp: Please enter via email, inbox us or put your name down at the clubhouse To help us plan, the earlier you can do this the better There will be a small cost: junior events are $3 for members and $5 for non-members (same as Tuesday arvo practice). For seniors, we will see what level of interest there is for a mini-comp and let you know. Everyone is welcome to play (including non-members) so please feel free to spread the word If any parents or kids would also like to have a muck-around hit then feel free to jump on any spare court so bring a hat and suitable shoes We look forward to seeing you on Saturday September 26.
