08.01.2022 Earlier this week Katherine Aviation was delighted to assist the Remote Arnhemland community of Numbulwar in the wake of Cyclone Trevor. In a marathon operation undertaken over 3 days, 480 people were returned home on 95 seperate flights. 10 Katherine aviation pilots and 3 extra operational staff worked tirelessly to coordinate 10 different aircraft to ensure everyone was returned home safely. Katherine Aviation would like to thank members of Roper Gulf Regional Council, the Department of Infrastructure and community members for their assistance.
