22.01.2022 Timber Creek, Dingo Cup, 9 to 11 October 2020. In it's 18th year, the inaugural Dingo Cup continues in the remote community of Timber Creek, to celebrate indigenous cricket, sportsmanship, culture, friendship, and the spirit of the game. In one of the most spectacular regions of Australia, the goal is to promote indigenous community adult and junior cricket and year after year, the community continues to attend and participate in this unique competition. ... In 2020, the Timber Creek Bush Turkey's retained the trophy for a second year running, but not without some drama, with the win coming from two balls to spare. Next year, the aim is to have a minimum of 12 teams over three days to celebrate culture, participation, and the love of cricket from representative teams all over Australia. Special thanks to the Indigenous Hip Hop Project, the Timber Creek community and the Katherine West Health Board for use of the music in the highlights.
