12.01.2022 This was such a nice jewellery moment. A few years back when I was exhibiting at LOOT @madmuseum NYC a lady happened upon the event and fell in love with this Australian boulder opal. It fitted her perfectly. Her husband secretly returned and purchased it for her birthday. She wasn’t a big jewellery wearer, nor had she intentionally come into MAD for this event. This one just captured her heart and suited her perfectly. And fitted first time! Although I didn’t know it when I made it, I may have made it just for her.... There’s a galaxy in that opal.
