25.01.2022 A little something I wrote for new book (had my main character in mind writing this). Not sure I’ll add it yet, but I might.... My mirror reflects uncertainty. Self-doubt abounds.... My mirror reflects confidence. Someone in tune with her abilities. My mirror reflects sadness. Grief over loved ones lost. My mirror reflects love and happiness. Satisfaction and contentment. My mirror reflects turmoil. Questions, resentment and confusion. My mirror reflects hate. Anger: at people, the world, and life. My mirror reflects .... me.
25.01.2022 About sums it up. Hoping to get back into it over Christmas. I did write a couple of chapters back in March, so at least I’ve started.

Derek is convinced his aunt didn’t kill her husband but is also convinced she knows who did and she isn’t talking. Now the pressure is on to find the killer so they can bury Doug. The sooner he can get the hell out of this town of poisoned memories and back to the city before his wife goes into labour, the better. It’s proving easier said than done though...

08.01.2022 Update on the book cover competition: I'm still in the running, but probably won't make it through to the final round. And that's OK! I don't mind because I'm so fricken happy with how it's gone so far!! Out of over 500 books, my cover was selected to be in the top 100 for the competition. Since then, I've gotten through each round due to votes - purely from the competition and FB. Yesterday, I was sitting at No. 20 - today I dropped to 23 (only top 24 go through to next ...round). So far, in total, 17,399 votes have gone through. That's 17,399 opportunities for people to see my book! Granted, a lot would go directly to the voting page of their preferred author, but still, I have received votes from people I've never met - so it's working.
