22.01.2022 I'm so proud of my art group today from Neighbour Aide; Liz, Marie, Cherylene, Rebecca, Ruth, Meg, Margaret, Pam, Fran, Monique and Desiree. They were excited to attempt this dolphin painting and I think you'll agree they have all done very well so far. We enjoyed a delicious morning tea and lunch prepared by Kathleen and Desiree (thankyou for your help). We ran out of time and they will return next week to finish adjusting, highlighting and putting in the wave and foam in the foreground.

22.01.2022 I just wanted to say a big THANKYOU to Julie and Tony for the entertaining afternoon of music, singing along and dancing on Sunday at Patina. This couple put their heart and soul into their performance. I can't get Doris out of my head lol. The event was moved inside due to weather conditions so mikes and amps weren't needed. Thankyou to members of the community who came on the day and joined in the fun.... If you have an event coming up where you need mucic I highly recommend them. See more

19.01.2022 McCue and Mackay Kindred Spirits Exhibition at Grenfell Art Gallery ended yesterday. Its been a very successful show for both of us and I would like to thank everyone who was involved in setting up, volunteering, purchasing works, viewing works and pulling the show down. Catherine has gained valuable insight into the process involved and has been encouraged by your support. I brought the remaining works back home to roost at Patina Gallery today confident in the knowledge that if you are prepared to put in the hours creating there will always be people who will support you.

17.01.2022 The Fabric Decoration workshop with Catherine Mackay held yesterday at Patina Gallery was amazing. An informative talk about the paint and examples and possibilities were shown by Cath then we all splished, sploshed, scrunched, stencilled, salted and resisted. A Delicious morning tea prepared by Fiona Johnson then more painting till 1pm. 6 students took away many samples, a bag gifted by Cath and a bag and 2 pillow cases decorated by them. 14.01.2022 I'm so proud of my girls from Neighbour Aide Grenfell who regularly visit Patina for an art fix, social interaction, music and laughter We did mosaics today. These will be grouted next week.

14.01.2022 A workshop with the Grenfell Girl Guides was very productive. Each participant made an artist folding book and a painting to frame. The books will be decorated during another session. The results of Leisure group art lessons for fun, held at Uniting church Grenfell, 1st term. The students were all very productive trying lots of different mediums and techniques.... We had a lovely lunch at Unwind to celebrate our achievements. I'm so proud of all the effort everyone put in. Well done!

04.01.2022 The girls from Neighbour Aide came and finished their dolphins today and added many skills to their art toolbox. You can be proud of your efforts. Even though you all painted from the same reference photo each dolphin has a character of its own! Love them all. Thankyou to #carrollwannell for the photo reference.

03.01.2022 The women from Neighbour aide came this morning to grout their mosaics, they made a couple of weeks ago. Well done girls you can be proud of your first mosaic. A lovely paver to place in the garden and enjoy your creativity.

02.01.2022 An upcoming workshop at Patina Gallery Grenfell 10th and 11th April 2021. Limited places. Jillian ran this workshop at The Hub Grenfell after her exhibition and it was very well recieved with all participants making beautiful works. I look forward to welcoming you into my bespoke gallery and studio and having some fun creating unique art works and learning new skills. Kathleen x

She is solid holding space for the inward journey Drawing out inner truths, so balance, nourishment and tranquility can be found She is waiting for you to seek out stillness Accept her guidance and find your own inner knowing This is a workshop for anyone who has an affinity with stones. My choice was a moonstone!
