21.01.2022 Childseats101 - the most common errors we spot!

21.01.2022 This popped up on my timeline today from a year ago, it's still one of my favourite Dylanisms (a quote he comes up with or tells us)

21.01.2022 How we celebrated Halloween tradition. Lots of sensory exploring. Orange slime with eyeballs and spiders. Bow pasta dyed black with white rice. We used this experience to explore Maths concepts (weight, comparisons, patterns) etc. We also had discussions about our bodies and how we are all different on the outside but the same on the inside.

20.01.2022 Our Silkworms are now in Cocoon stage.

19.01.2022 I love my mornings with Miss 2y. We counted 8 cockatoos, 4 galahs a raven, 3 rainbow Lorikeets and 2 Corellas. We love this book as it a beautiful Australian book which references a lot of birds we see here.

18.01.2022 Fine motor development and Cognitive thinking skills. Pinching the pom poms in fingertips in order to pull them out and also to push them back into the wisk. We also grouped them into colours and practiced our counting.

17.01.2022 Enjoying the beautiful weather and celebrating Spring time.

16.01.2022 It is not safe for a baby to sleep on a soft surface such as a beanbag, pillow or air mattress as they can suffocate. The safest place for a baby to sleep is in an Australian Standards compliant cot. #SafeSleep

12.01.2022 Such a beautiful day to explore mud

11.01.2022 One of our past excursions to Paradise Point for a picnic and play. Looking at the water to see which way the wind is blowing. Finding fish and talking about the importance of putting rubbish in the bin so it doesn't end up in our beautiful water.

07.01.2022 We have had a few visitors lately who love to make a big mess and also scare our 3 Ringneck parrots. Today we decided to make bird feeders using recycled milk bottles. We found sticks on the ground to use as a tool for the birds to stand on while they eat. We were very excited to see the magpies using them, but hope to see the cockatoos use them.

07.01.2022 Creating patterns using various tools and equipment

06.01.2022 Children enjoy watching all the action in our street. Last week we watched the rubbish trucks come and today it was the street sweeper. We read the book 'Dig Dig Digging' and I took Sophia to the rubbish tip to see where all our rubbish ends up.

06.01.2022 Bird feeding time. If we are running late to feed the birds the Cockatoo's love to remind us by waiting outside the kindy window.

03.01.2022 #BREAKING: Measles alert for Gold Coast FULL DETAILS HERE: http://bit.ly/2gcZ9e6

02.01.2022 Great opportunity to support our multicultural community and learn about the world in which we live.
