25.01.2022 Photographer with Laryngitis, should make for a quiet afternoon for the bride and groom!!!!
25.01.2022 Lately I've had quite a few people ask if I'm still taking bookings and continuing photography. The short answer is yes, I haven't been posting much on my page for 2 reasons. Our internet is average to say the least and between 5 kids, school and 5 nights a week of sport I simply haven't had spare time. If you are looking for family, newborn, maternity or wedding photography please make an enquiry and we can find a suitable date.
23.01.2022 Didn't expect to need the heater on for a January newborn shoot!!!!
23.01.2022 After much thought I have decided to shut up shop. I have had the most wonderful time over the last 7 years capturing so many special moments for clients. My decision is based on my 5 children and their need to have a 100% dedicated mum. I have 4 at school and number 5 will start in 2017. They have sporting, school and personal commitments which I don't want to miss. I don't want to have to rush their bedtime story anymore so I can begin editing photos.... Wedding season is also my husbands busiest season of year for his work as a farmer and the juggle of who is having the kids is becoming harder. Those with current bookings or vouchers are still in my diary and will be photographed as arranged but after that I will be 'retired'. Finally a huge thankyou to those who have trusted my to photograph their weddings, maternity session, newborns and families. I have loved every minute. Kathryn xoxo
21.01.2022 What a beautiful day for a wedding. Bec and Chris, you organised the most stunning wedding from afar with some help from your local family. The service was beautiful and the reception was perfect!!! Setting, guests and food (The Roaming Chef) all spot on. Well done and congratulations!!!!
16.01.2022 Yesterday I was asked a question by someone who is waiting on their wedding photos. What is an acceptable time frame to wait for edited wedding photos to be finished and in the hands of the bride and groom??? Thoughts and opinions??
15.01.2022 Don't forget I have gift vouchers available. I know how hard some people are to buy for and that many families have very out dated photos on their walls. Let me know if you would like to purchase one :)
15.01.2022 Today I received this beautiful handwritten thankyou card, from the most lovely couple I had the pleasure of photographing earlier this year. It's couples like this I am going to miss and make me question whether the descision I have made is the right one. But then I look at my kids and realise how incredibly lucky I am to have them and know that I've done the right thing. Many happy memories of special moments in so many peoples lives to look back on and now to create even more precious memories with my own family!!!
10.01.2022 Today I'm going having an 'open studio' to sell my props. There are heaps here. All lovely quality and in great condition. 10am-3pm. All welcome and I can arrange photos of items and postage if required. If you would like more info please message me.
09.01.2022 Today I had the pleasure of photographing this fun couple and their kids. Between the showers we were pretty lucky to grab some cute pics :)
