25.01.2022 A perfect Autumn Day as Krystle and Aaron exchanged vows at a stunning location. Congratulations.... a wonderful relaxed ceremony in front of family and friends . Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your special day.

25.01.2022 A big day for this ‘tired teddy’. home at sunset What a wonderful end to Summer. Today Renee and Mark exchanged vows in a spectacular setting. They presented roses to their mums and their family unit was formalised by a simple yet meaningful sand ceremony. Each of the children contributed a specific colour of sand... celebrating the blend of unique personalities and qualities. It was a wonderful way to highlight the positive dynamics within the family and symbolise the inseparably union of the Bride and Groom..... Congratulations

24.01.2022 A magnificent day today as Allisa and Ben exchanged wedding vows. As this wedding season draws to a close we were blessed with a truely lovely Easter ceremony. Congratulations

24.01.2022 Today I had the privilege of conducting a wedding ceremony in the beautiful Sassafras Community Chapel. The bride and groom chose to include a brief yet meaningful Unity Candle Ceremony in their service. As this single flame burns undivided, so shall your lives now be as one. From now on your thoughts will always be for each other, your plans will be mutual, your joys and aspirations will be shared. The groom could think of no better place to have the ceremony.... in his childhood church, a link to a proud heritage.

24.01.2022 The gentle rained eased and our Bride and Groom, Rachel & Sam were greeted with a perfect afternoon to exchange vows in front of family and friends. Congratulations and best wishes for the future. - K

24.01.2022 Today it is with great pride that Josh welcomes Shontay and Jamieson into his life through this formal process. This afternoon our groom presented the children with necklaces, gifts that represent the special place they already have in his heart. Birthday girl Nan, was presented with the bridal bouquet. A brief yet meaningful sand ceremony celebrated the blend of unique personalities and qualities within the family unit. Congratulations to Peta and Josh, May your future be blessed with health and happiness .

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Janelle & Callum, the Rhododendron Garden was the perfect backdrop for today’s ceremony. The Bride & Groom chose to acknowledge their grandparents, very special people, who helped to shape their character, mould their spirits & instil resilience & lifelong values.

22.01.2022 A busy weekend for a Spreyton girl, raised under an apple tree. Congratulations to Laura and Matt who exchanged wedding vows surrounded by apple trees and those nearest and dearest. This afternoon Stacey & Keith surprised guests who came to celebrate Stacey’s milestone birthday ....

20.01.2022 Another spectacular afternoon as Wendy Kaye Phil Chilcott joined their lives in marriage. A fun and relaxed ceremony surrounded by family and friends. It was great to once again have the company of What the Fork. Congratulations to Wendy and Phil.

19.01.2022 Today would have been my Mum & Dad’s 66th Wedding Anniversary. When I meet with couples I ask them about any traditions they would like to continue or even start for future generations. One aspect of weddings that appears to be disappearing is gifting the bride with a good luck charm. This charm was hand made and presented to my Mum on her wedding day. The ribbon is from the wedding car and the shell was collected from a beach on their honeymoon. The hat pin she wore has been used in both my daughters bridal bouquets. It’s great embracing all the new trends adopted by modern couples.... maybe give some thought to creating your own traditions. Good luck to everyone currently planning their special day.

19.01.2022 This morning I was deemed as an essential traveler. Essential as I was required in my official role as a Marriage Celebrant. A party of 5 with social distancing certainly could not dampen the spirits of day. The original ceremony had included a traditional Tea Ceremony which reflected the Brides rich cultural heritage and formed part of the ‘blessing’ from her family. It was still very important to acknowledge this blessing even though circumstances prevented family and friends from attending. Congratulations Celine & Andrew

18.01.2022 Once again Mt Roland is the perfect backdrop for a Kentish wedding. Today I had the privilege of marrying a couple who now call my family home.... their forever home at Spreyton. Congratulations to Amanda and Brent, I know your home was built with love (by my dad), it will continue to be filled with love. It holds so many wonderful memories for me and it is now time for you to create your own fantastic memories. Best wishes for the future .

17.01.2022 A fantastic start to our new Wedding Season. Congratulations to Rosemary & Dennis who exchanged vows at one of my favourite locations .... Bells Parade, Latrobe. You both began to recognise a not so familiar feeling of tranquility, when you were together. 09.01.2022 You could think of no better place to formalise your union than here at your family home, sharing with confidence that home is where the heart is. 04.01.2022 The crowning glory for both wedding ceremonies today was the peony rose. Congratulations to Dianne and Bill who exchange wedding vows at Heathermoor Peony and Wedding venue Latrobe. From everyone in our wonderful wedding community.... Thank you and good luck xxx

01.01.2022 A little info from my website from Family & Traditions. At our initial meeting we will talk about the type of ceremony you are hoping to have. Family dynamics are often something we discuss at length, blended families, divorce, co-parenting and many other variables are sensitively discussed. A casual relaxed conversation is the easiest way of laying the foundations for your perfect ceremony, my role is after all, is to guide and support you throughout the process. I believe ...that a wedding is a perfect occasion to recognise family, to acknowledge or even create traditions. Our daughters Jessica Hamilton and Megan Vos chose to incorporate a hat pin my mum wore on her wedding into their bridal bouquets. Happy to take inquiries for those planning their special day check out lots of other information via the link to my website. The 12 month countdown check via Fees & Info is available for anyone to download. -K Good luck to all those in their planning stage. See more
