21.01.2022 Big RISK = Big REWARD (and it usually takes TIIIIIME) . . . .... I’ve taken a lot of big risks in my lifetime for dreams only I could see - looking back they were always worth it but imma keep it real, they did not feel graceful and easy in between taking the risk and reaping the reward. They did not feel like rainbows and sometimes it took years to feel / see the reward! . . . I’m currently in that in between phase of taking an uncomfortable big risk but not quite reaping the rewards YET.... it’s a scary place to be but my faith is bigger than my fear! I love taking chances on myself (but I hate waiting ) who is with me!? . . . . . In a study of 30,000 adults (in USA) they asked How much stress have you experienced in the past year? and Do you believe that stress is harmful for your health? . Over 8 years they looked at public health records to see who died: RESULTS -The people who experienced a lot of stress were 43% more at risk of dying BUT this was ONLY true for the people who also believed that stress is harmful for their health. **People who experienced A LOT of stress were no more likely to die - they were actually the lowest risk of dying in anyone in the study including people who had very little stress. They also estimated that in that 8 year period of tracking deaths 182,000 adults died prematurely, not from stress, but from the belief that stress was bad for you. That’s over 20,000 deaths a year.. . . .
