03.01.2022 Wowee!! I can't believe it has been so long since I have made a post on my cake page. (April 2017)) EEKK! Goes to show how time doesn't stop for anyone. All busy living our lives, working. Given these unusual, hard times that have forced us to stop. It gives us time to think about all the important things and time to reflect on things. What does the future hold?... What am I going to be doing tomorrow, next week, in the next few months, in a year?... I don't know but I know Im the only one that can make that choice. But... In the mean time I might share a few cakes that I have been doing in my spare hours of free time other the last few years while working as a chef, mostly for friends and family. Enjoy!!

02.01.2022 Thought I'd share this. going through my old photo (post digital photo days ;-)) I'd made this while I was a 3rd year apprentice chef attending a Salon Culinary competition. (cooking competition). It is a margarine sculpture. and it was quite big too! approx. 1 mtr. worked on it between working my split shifts back in the day : ). ... It was the winner too. I remember ascribing the scales in with a pin. crazy crazy : ) See more
