20.01.2022 Is data stifling creativity and originality in how cities are built and culture forms? My client Mark McClelland challenges us to avoid homogeneity in this blog, No Precedent. http://culturalcapital.city/2019/12/1316/

18.01.2022 Prince cared about ownership, not just his creative work, but about control of processes and platforms. He also wanted to make people aware of events in American history when black people gained or lost ownership. I've read and re-read this story in The New Yorker, written by Prince's chosen memoir collaborator @Dan Piepenbring who had the co-operation of Prince's estate. I look forward to owning my own copy of The Beautiful Ones, the book Prince authored but didn't get to finish. https://www.newyorker.com/magazi//09/09/the-book-of-prince #princetheauthor #thenewyorker #memoir #authorship #ownership #collaborator

18.01.2022 From Australian author Markus Zusak, some of his collection of books by Indigenous Australian authors.

11.01.2022 Gee it's nourishing to be a part of a thoughtful and authentic conversation. The inaugural Dangerous Women Book Group met today to discuss this book on Jacinda Ardern by Madeleine Chapman (Publisher NERO, Black Inc). I loved this comment , "I do think it's important she's a woman". Pictures shows women who attended, all have completed the Dangerous Blogging program. And baby Edwin! Thank you everyone who came along. #https://katiemac.com.au #supportingwomen #womensvoices #womeninbusiness #womenempowerment #jacindaardern #madeleinechapman #blackincbooks #NERO

10.01.2022 My inspiration: I'm enjoying the journeys and visual storytelling of A Woman's Guide to the World by Canadian filmmaker #ApollaEchino. My favourite is her journey of surfing around the south island of New Zealand. https://www.youtube.com/cha/UC2vvJA_FwbFxKMeWKwT9-8g/videos #filmmaker #travel #belief #voice

10.01.2022 I would encourage successful women I knew to use media, but they were afraid. Here is my International Women's Day 2020 Blog entitled No More Bikinis. Feel free to share this https://katiemac.com.au/blog/2020/3/8/no-more-bikinis #iwd2020 #womeninmedia #womensupportingwomen #empowermentisok

08.01.2022 KatieMac Publicity is dedicated to supporting people in discovery and expression of voice. I support the proposal for a First Nations Voice to Parliament as outlined in the Uluru Statement from the Heart. If you feel you would like to read something which will inform you, please take time to read the Uluru Statement from the Heart: https://ulurustatement.org/ If you would like to do something that helps Indigenous Australians, consider donating to Sydney Story Factory so a marginalised young person can learn to find their voice, write creatively and create their better future. https://www.storyfactory.org.au/ https://ulurustatement.org/
