17.01.2022 L I L Y Do you know what doesn't matter when it comes to photos, having everyone looking and smiling at the camera. As a photographer I feel like it's my duty to show you another way we like to call it 'lifestyle' photography. It's a fancy word for casual yet exceptionally meaningful photography. An example of this is the photo below. Lily was just pretending to be a statue (that seemed to have it's own rules ) and Nikki had just purchased her new statue from a plant sho...p. Lily had broken character because Nikki was tickling her and that's when the photo was taken. There is nothing special about this moment except for all of it. Remember the little things and cheeky smiles because they grow up.

17.01.2022 T E D You knew getting photos wasn't going to be easy, and of course, your toddler woke up a grump, and your newborn baby is a little fussier in your arms today. You apologize 100 times and thank everyone for their patience. This photo was the moment when it became comical. The moment you realize your images weren't going to be what you envisioned in your head, and wearing white probably wasn't the best choice, but you will love them anyway. A photo session should be fun and easy, and it should capture you and your family as they are in this moment. Because as you are is perfect.

06.01.2022 It has been a year a really big one. As much as this year sucked for most I will be forever grateful to it for teaching me gratitude. For teaching me to smile at people and not avoid eye contact when out shopping because when you are isolated that means a lot. To appreciate hugs, I've always loved them but when you see an old friend and you can't hug them that broke my heart a little. To be more helpful because time is less important than being kind. To appreciate being well.... To be grateful for a job and to be able to pay my bills. To be really kind to retail workers cos they've had enough of your shit. And patience, this one I'm still working on. Here is my last video of 2020 Merry Christmas! Dare to dream that 2021 will be better than this one.

Why would you want photos of your children smiling at the camera when you can have up nose photos? Looking through galleries makes me realise I get way more of this and fluke smiling at the camera photos
