16.01.2022 Ancient Scripture narrates; first comes love. Then comes marriage. Then comes baby in a baby carriage... I think it’s time to get another Cat! Best vows ever! Made me grin and snort out loud with all the right giggles! N & L love it your way!

15.01.2022 Um... these two! SUCH a JOY! 12 years on the dot they’d been together. Their nearest and dearest bundled together on the banks of the Golburn River... just as C was entering her vow cards flew out of my folder down to the river... L looked over and said ‘just wing it!’ ... I held it in as a guest scrambled down the river bed... then just as I announced they were married a jet sky soared past completely oblivious. We had a pretty hilarious code word to help focus the eyes during ‘too many’ tears, which we used just a little too often... but hey. What can you do when ‘Taco Tuesday’ just rolls off the tongue! Big love C & L - it was awesome!

12.01.2022 Nailed it in the first shot! These two, E & J, mature, secure and confident in their love for each other and their family and friends. It is beautiful see a love that has spanned over a decade and the celebration of this unfold in a stunning public declaration. Love and people walk side by side, the trick is to allow it in, without trying to alter its course with too much gusto - be in the moment, mindful of the time you have there and then. What follows is beauty. Cradled by the city skyline surrounded by bush, you wouldn’t know we were inner city Melbourne. Just the way it should be! Big love you fabulous people - my first couple who used the phrase ‘we are going to hide behind the toilet block for the first minute and a half of the entrance song’... ... ... !!!

12.01.2022 That time P and L got married on a secluded beach on Flinders Island where (literally) only 14 people live and one of said locals captures it from their living room window (not creepy, #nojokes) and you (literally) have the BEST time (#nojokes) because of awesome people, genuine souls with so much kindness and hearty laughs that you forget to take a SELFIE! Then you loose the substitute selfie sent by the couple not once, but twice, into the webs of the inter webs and end up... writing a ridiculous post as a result using a paparazzi style long distance shot as a result to share the experience? Yep. This. I LOVED THIS EXPERIENCE. SO. MUCH. These beautiful people filled my works with so much love and I wish them both nothing but the same for the rest of their lives. Thank you for your glorious selves. You are truely wonderful individuals. Big love See more

10.01.2022 Oh snap. I hope this one burns into my memory bank for all eternity. One of the most HILARIOUS elopement days for all the RIGHT reasons! SO much love for this glorious couple C & D. Wed on the beach before hiking up a mountain before back to the beach for fine food and surprises. And that glove! That bloody hilarious glove will go down. In. History. Thank you 1000 times over for such a joyful memory (even if it did involved me caught mid change and busted by a cheeky toot ... ahem!)

09.01.2022 Ooooooohmagosh! These two! After a few covid reschedules they pulled off the ULTIMATE ‘surprise, it’s a wedding’ wedding. The guests were invited to a ‘surprise it’s a 30th’ for L organised by D... all the guests arrived early, settled in and hid in anticipation of L’s arrival. As the roller doors to the joint rolled up, supposedly to surprise L, the DJ cranked ‘Chapel of Love’ by the Dixie Cups. There stood L with her Folks in her wedding gown... BOOM! EPIC EPIC EPIC! And these two - L and D, absolute BEST people you will ever meet. Oh, and just to completely blow your minds... also expecting baby number 1 in a few months. COULD LIFE GET ANY BETTER???! You should all check out @olivasocial it’s awesome

06.01.2022 I just had an epiphany After 27 years (pause for effect) Bob realised he wanted to give Sandra his love letter. He wanted to marry her, on Flinders island after a week of hiking. This wedding was unweddingly from the get go and I LOVED it. B I’m gonna miss ya emails and crazy stories, S thank you for allowing your fella to love you and receive that love in this crazy way. What held my heart was the music and the meditation - something which I will be learning more about as a result. May the next adventure be filled with as many good times as this! Ok!

04.01.2022 Had to RACE down the hill after literally leaving and turning back to get this bad Ass selfie. So good to see @wildernessweddings_ Kate only taking until couple #2 of this bonza adventure week of Wilderness Elopements to adopt my signature ridiculous ‘open mouthed I’m slightly scared smile’! A and G you filled us all with so. Much. Love. I enjoyed the muscle show you treated me with upon arrival, chauffeuring you around under a secret identity, playing laptop tour guide for your VIPs and generally just wedding you loved up Sunny Coasters. It. Was. The. Best. Shout out to @folktalefilms for his first appearance (of many to come I’ve no doubt) and commiserations for flying your camera drone into the top branch quite literally the tallest tree in Tasmania.
