24.01.2022 A giant mess isn't all I've made this week! My birthday present to me was really for you guys: a week of uninterrupted crafting! As many of you know I'm back at 'real work' which for me is ecology and botany. I had originally planned to do a couple of months from September, but it's looking like I might be able to ease off the botany mid March! I've currently hidden my felts order list somewhat safe in the craft room so I'm letting each fleece speak to me with regard to shape and size, but if you can remember what you ordered please feel free to remind me here. I will of course go back to the original post if I can't find the list by the weekend :)

20.01.2022 So, I'm finally working on setting up an email list! Facebook's reach is pitiful, so while I'm going to continue to post here I'll be announcing all of my store updates from now on *hopefully* via email! And to make this even better I'll be sending out early access codes in emails! Just comment here with your email address and I'll get you on the list!

20.01.2022 So it's yet another wet grey day here, as it is on most of the east coast. I'm distracting myself from the wind which makes me irrationally anxious, and the major flooding at my parents farm which makes me rationally anxious by making something bright and girly. What do you guys think? I hope everyone is keeping safe and as dry as possible Ps the second photo is my parents front yard, 1m deep in the flood, thankfully their house is on stilts and is safe and dry.

17.01.2022 Welcome once again to the time of year when my two loves collide and Botany takes the lead for a month or two! This last few weeks I've been away doing botany, and experiencing some intense weather! I got back home just in time for Halloween where I put a spare wedding dress to good use as a ghost bride! Katiesprops.com will stay open for the time being but I'll be posting less frequently! If you need something in a hurry message me first to make sure I can get it on it's wa...y quickly! Oh and because I never forget you guys I'm always on the hunt for new things to be used in my prop creating, so while I was away last week I picked hundreds of rosebuds to dry and preserve to hopefully turn into something amazing for you guys!
