21.01.2022 My first week at Radio 2st/ PowerFM has been a whirlwind. Lots of stories, loads of new skills and so great to be back out in the community. After covering the Bali bombings and following Gayle’s journey for 18 years, it was fantastic to see her massive dream come to fruition. 21.01.2022 Having a ball out in the community. I’ve missed journalism and feel completely back in my zone! The first couple of weeks I’ve filled in for our Hunter station journo and Highlands newsreader - which meant whirlwind studio training and going on air reading the bulletins - but now I can focus on gathering local news. 12.01.2022 After a four-year hiatus, I’m picking up the pen again full-time and getting back into community journalism! Say hello to the new broadcast journalist for Radio 2ST and 94.9 Power FM. Roving journo for the Shoalhaven region and I’ll be on air!!! I’ve had to say goodbye to The RiotACT and About Regional after only a few weeks and have also given up the position I was about to take up with Visit NSW State Forests. Most of my contract work has been wrapped up and I’m ready for the new and exciting challenge starting in two weeks. What a whirl wind year this has been. Bring on 2021.
