03.01.2022 Well although this handsome boy left his brain at home we still put together a nice Novice test today. So proud of him doing his first ever novice test and it was the 2.3 and Official competition. He nailed the parts of the test I was most concerned about and minus the couple of moments of extreme disobedience due to tension he was super and thrived on the challenge. For my students an important message, I was extremely happy with my horse and how his training has progresse...d throughout the year and I told myself that no matter how he went today I would go home feeling the same way. With taking Cas to a new place today and other environmental conditions that were out of my control, yes my horse misbehaved but I look to his future and Im super excited. To do what he did today under the stress and tension he had made up in his head I have to look back, reflect and all I feel is happy and proud.
