07.01.2022 Wildlife Wednesday It’s was an extra extra special wildlife day today. Many of you may remember that Katrina found a koala on her property that had eye problems. The koala was rescued and transported to the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital for immediate treatment. During her check up the vets found she also had a tiny little Joey in her pouch. Fast forward to today, after 8 weeks in the hospital she was finally bought home for release.... She was an extra special girl because she was the Australia Zoo’s 10,000th Koala to be treated. The film crew came out with Terri Irwin to record this significant milestone for Crikey TV. Katrina was a little star struck meeting Terri because she admires everything the Irwin’s do for our Australian Wildlife and she couldn’t do what she does for wildlife without their ongoing support and vet care. Also a thank you to Marlan who is Katrina’s Nephew who initially spotted this koala. He was also there for the release. Australia Zoo

Harris Charles Johns was born weighing 81/2lb and Mum & Bub are doing great. He is an absolute cutie and our entire team are thrilled for them. Congratulations Claire and Lewis!
